Debt Recovery Claims
AMS Solicitors cover all aspects of debt recovery in particular student debt recovery, mainly acting for Landlords in recovery of outstanding rental payments or damage to premises. We offer highly competitive fixed fee pricing for our work giving you cost certainty and transparency. We know all of the different tools available to recover your debts. These include Letters before Action, Small Claims Court Proceedings and County Court Claims to
include enforcement of Judgments.
AMS Solicitors also undertake contract disputes where you are looking to recover outstanding monies from an individual or a company or alternatively you are on the receiving end of a claim which requires defending.
Most of the time a contract serves to ensure that each party understands their rights and responsibilities and how to protect everyone involved. However disagreements can arise and there may be a dispute about the terms of the contract or alternatively, as a result of a contract you may be owed money or you may have received a demand for payment of money which you dispute. When this happens it is a good idea to seek legal advice to help you understand the terms of the contract and resolve whatever issues you are facing. AMS Solicitors will help you take control and resolve the dispute as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Landlord & Tenant
In relation to Landlord and Tenant matters AMS Solicitors can assist in Possession Proceedings. For Landlords looking to evict a Tenant we can provide advice about your rights and responsibilities. Most importantly we will ensure that you follow the correct legal process which could save considerable time and money in the long term. Again, we understand the pressures you may be facing and we will do all we can to put you at ease and help you regain control of your particular situation.
AMS Solicitors make it easy for you to understand by speaking your language.
Tenancy Agreements & Deposits
Whether you are a Landlord or a Tenant it makes good sense to have a solid Tenancy Agreement in place. Not only will this highlight your rights and responsibilities but it will also help maintain a positive relationship between you and your Landlord or Tenant.
A Tenancy Agreement is a contract between a Tenant and a Landlord and it should clearly explain what is expected of each party providing everyone with peace of mind so that they know where they stand. As well as asking a Tenant to sign a Tenancy Agreement, Landlords are legally entitled to require a deposit before letting a property to a Tenant.
At AMS Solicitors we offer expert advice regarding Tenancy Agreements and Deposits for both Tenants and Landlords. If you have a question or would like to find out how we can help please contact us.
